Support Your Abbey

Wymondham Abbey is the parish church of the town, and we are not just bricks and mortar! We are a living building, which seeks to serve not only those who walk through our doors, but the wider community, both near and far. For 900 years, there has been a place of worship, witnessing to the Glory of God and the Christian Faith on this site. We also recognise that we are a place of immense historical and cultural significance, which is looked to from those near, and those far, whether people attned worship, come on pilgrimage, or visit us as part of schools, community groups, or as individuals. The Abbey holds thousands of religious services each year, as well as playing host to schools, community arts and music groups, and concerts.

Wymondham Abbey is a treasure of great significance for all of us, and we seek your help in making sure that the Abbey is here in another 900 years – whether you are able to give of your time in volunteering as a steward or shopkeeper, whether you are able to make a donation or leave a gift in your will, or whether you wish to join the Friends of Wymondham Abbey. We hope that the information on these pages will be of help to you – thank you. The Revd Canon Christopher Davies
