Join us in worship
We meet with each other and with God in the Abbey every day of the year and everyone is welcome to join us.
The daily pattern of worship begins the day with Morning Prayer, and ends with Evening Prayer, with at least one Eucharist celebrated each day, reflecting a pattern of monastic prayer carried out by the Benedictine Monks, resident in this abbey for many centuries, and reminding us of the central presence of God in our lives – “Bidden or not bidden , God is present” (Carl Jung).
This daily offering of praise and thanks to God in our Worship draws us together with Christians throughout the world, and equips us to serve God’s people on earth, a treasure which Christ Himself entrusted to His Church.
